EverLoc’s™ Fence/Parapet systems are great for many applications including sitting walls, courtyards, privacy fences, patios, etc. One popular application is a parapet atop a retaining wall. Parapets can be designed and installed with the retaining wall itself eliminating unsightly guardrails or handrails. The Fence/Parapet system accommodates multiple heights insuring your barrier provides the protection you need around parking lots and other areas. The same versatile patterns found in EverLoc™ retaining walls are available for the Fence/Parapet systems. A complete line of accessories allow EverLoc™ Fence/Parapet to adapt to your specific needs.
Always consult a Civil Engineer before designing or installing parapets intended for protective barriers! For retaining walls requiring engineered drawings, parapets must be included in the initial retaining wall design to allow for proper load requirements.
For your protection and to assure compliance with state and local codes, all walls to be built 4 feet or taller must be engineered by a qualified engineer. The cost of this service is very nominal and also gives you a very accurate estimate of the cost of your planned wall. Ask your dealer for details.
